Privacy & cookies

The short version: this site doesn't ask for your details, doesn't track you, and runs no advertising or analytics cookies.

Who we are

Phat Choons Radio is operated by Matthew Hamer (trading as Phat Choons Radio), a sole trader in the United Kingdom. For anything privacy-related, email hello [at] phatchoonsradio.co.uk.

What we collect

• When you email us — we receive your email address and whatever you write, and keep it only as long as we need to deal with your message.
• When you listen — playing the stream connects your device to our streaming server, which necessarily sees your IP address (it's also how we keep the service to UK listeners). We don't build listener profiles from it.
• That's it — no sign-up, no accounts, no tracking pixels, and no advertising or analytics cookies.

Cookies & local storage

The player remembers your volume setting by storing it in your own browser (local storage). It stays on your device and is never sent to us. We don't set advertising or analytics cookies. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first.

Sponsor links

If you click an "as heard on air" sponsor link, you'll be taken to the advertiser's own website, which has its own privacy policy. We don't share your details with advertisers.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email hello [at] phatchoonsradio.co.uk and we'll sort it. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
